Private lessons, every session

You’ve spent months in traditional swim lessons, but you still hold your breath every time they’re near the water.

Comfortable in the water isn’t the same as safe in the water.

Most swim lessons teach children to enjoy the pool. But that won’t help a toddler who slips into the water when no one is looking.

CM SWIM CO teaches the skills that do: rolling onto their back to float, rest, and breathe. Lessons are private, one-on-one, and built around your child’s development, so they move forward safely and quickly.

My approach is compassionate, structured, and friendly-but-firm. Your child leaves confident and prepared. You leave with peace of mind.

What lessons look like

Eight weeks. One child. One instructor.

Every lesson is private and purposeful. Here’s what to expect.

01

Short daily lessons

10 minutes, 5 days a week, one-on-one with the same instructor. Short sessions keep your child focused and learning.

02

Skills built step by step

Floating, flipping, and breathing come first. Older children then learn to swim, float and swim again to reach safety.

03

Real-world practice

In the final week, your child practices in clothing, so skills are practiced the way an accident would actually happen.

04

You leave with a plan

Refresher lessons about every six months, plus optional weekly maintenance lessons, keep skills sharp.

Infants from 6 months and up practice rolling to a float. Ages 2 and up learn the full swim-float-swim sequence.

Hi, I’m Caitlin

I’m here for the parents who aren’t taking any chances with water safety.

Drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 4. I believe every family deserves to feel confident they can protect their kids from it.

I spent 15 years teaching traditional swim lessons before training as a self-rescue instructor. Today I combine 20+ years in the water with a degree in Child Development, so every lesson is taught in the way your child actually learns.

We’re not treating swim lessons like an optional activity. We’re treating this like your child’s life depends on it.

From Sacramento parents

“I love that I can now be around large bodies of water with peace of mind, knowing they have the tools and skills they need. It’s completely changed their outlook on water. It’s even made bath time easier!”

Sydney C.

“I can’t believe what Caitlin has accomplished with my little ones in such a short amount of time, and how she has changed their attitude toward and in the water.”

CM SWIM CO parent

“Caitlin is so patient and knowledgeable with the kids, and she has created a beautiful community through her work. I could not recommend her enough!”
